Width × depth × height. Inside is the space your dog actually has.
From the maker's spec sheet. The maker doesn't publish inside space for the Large; it sits between the Medium and the Extra large. With our rule (dog lying on his side, nose to base of tail, plus six inches), the Medium suits a dog up to about 23 in long and the Extra large up to about 34 in.

Covers manufacturing faults — a weld, a hinge, a frame that fails in normal use, a seam or a zip that goes. We repair it, send the part, or replace the piece.
It doesn't cover chewing, scratching, damage from misuse, or anything loaded past its stated weight limit. Nor does it cover normal wear: sisal fraying is the post doing its job, and carpet treads mat down with use.

About Ashcombe Dog Crate End Table, Solid Wood Top with 3 Doors, 3 Sizes
A crate is the one piece of dog equipment that has to live in the room you actually sit in, and most of them look like a cage because they are one. Ashcombe is a dog crate end table built the other way around: a solid wood top heavy enough to take a lamp and a stack of books, on a slim powder-coated steel frame.
It reads as an end table from the couch and as a den from the floor, which is the only honest definition of dog crate furniture. Three hinged doors mean you can open it from whichever side the room allows: the front, the end, or the long side against the wall. Every door has double latches.
The floor tray slides out for the inevitable, and two of them clip together side by side if you have two dogs or want a longer console. Three sizes, stepping up in length.
Why Ashcombe works for a dog who settles
- Solid wood toptakes a lamp, books, a tray of drinks. Not for sitting on.
- Welded powder-coated steel framenot folding wire.
- Three hinged doorsfront, end or long side, so it works against a wall or beside a couch.
- Double latchesharder for a nose to pop than a single clip.
- Removable slide-out floor trayclean-up without moving the crate.
- Links side by sidetwo crates clip together for two dogs or a longer console.
- Three sizesMedium, Large and Extra Large, stepping up in length.

Which size?
Measure your dog lying on his side, nose to base of tail, and add about six inches so he can turn around. Then measure the wall or the gap beside the couch where it is going. The three sizes step up in length; take the larger of what the dog needs and what the room allows, and check the dimensions diagram in the photos. It is not the crate for a dog with real separation anxiety who chews metal.
Questions about a dog crate end table
Which size do I need?
Measure your dog lying on his side, nose to base of tail, and add about six inches so he can turn around. Then measure the wall or the gap beside the couch where it is going. The three sizes step up in length; take the bigger of what the dog needs and what the room allows.
Is it strong enough for a determined dog?
It is welded steel, not folding wire, and the latches are double. It is not an escape-proof crate for a dog with real separation anxiety who chews metal. If that is your dog, you need a specialist crate and a trainer, not furniture.
How hard is it to put together?
Bolt-together frame, about half an hour with the supplied tools. Two people for the top.
How do I clean it?
The floor tray slides out from under the barred floor, so you can empty and wipe it without moving the crate. Wipe the steel and the wood top with a damp cloth.
How long does shipping take?
Free tracked shipping on every US order. Orders ship within 1–3 business days and arrive 6–15 business days door to door. US only.
What if it's the wrong size?
Send it back within 30 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging, for a refund. If it arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, we cover the return shipping.
