Covers manufacturing faults — a weld, a hinge, a frame that fails in normal use, a seam or a zip that goes. We repair it, send the part, or replace the piece.
It doesn't cover chewing, scratching, damage from misuse, or anything loaded past its stated weight limit. Nor does it cover normal wear: sisal fraying is the post doing its job, and carpet treads mat down with use.

A ramp you don't have to look at
Most dog ramps end up leaning behind the sofa, which means the dog goes back to jumping. Ashby stays in the room because closed it is a footstool with the lead and the toys inside it.

About Ashby Dog Ramp for Couch That Doubles as a Storage Footstool, 19.5" Tall
The honest problem with a dog ramp for the couch is that it's a board on your living room floor. Most people buy one, look at it for a week, and start leaning it behind the couch between uses, which means the dog goes back to jumping.
Ashby solves that by being a footstool the rest of the time. Sherpa fleece upholstery in gray or beige, tapered beech legs, a lid that lifts. Inside is a hollow box for the leash, the brush and the toys, which is where they should have been living anyway.
When your dog needs it, the lid hinges down and forward into a ramp with a black ribbed anti-slip deck, a surface a small dog can brake on rather than slide down. It takes about two seconds, and nothing has to be carried in from another room.
Why Ashby works for small dogs and cats
- 19.5 inches tallthe right height for a couch, an armchair or a low-to-standard bed.
- 110 lb capacitya wood frame that takes your feet or a small-to-medium dog without complaint.
- Black ribbed anti-slip decka small dog can brake on the way down instead of sliding.
- Hollow storage box under the lidleash, brush, toys and a folded blanket out of sight.
- Sherpa fleece over a wood framereads as a footstool in the living room, not pet equipment.
- Two-second conversionthe lid hinges down into a ramp and back up into a stool; nothing to fetch from another room.
- Soft-tipped beech legskinder to hard floors.

Will it reach your couch?
Measure from the floor to the top of the cushion. Ashby stands 19.5 inches tall and needs 27.6 inches of floor once the ramp is down, which suits couches, armchairs and low-to-standard beds. If your bed is over about 22 inches, this is the wrong height. It is a short ramp, so the slope is steeper than a long one: fine for small dogs and cats, not the right choice for a dog over 110 lb or one with serious hip trouble.
Questions about a dog ramp for the couch
How tall is it?
19.5 inches, and 27.6 inches deep once the ramp is down. That suits a couch or a low-to-standard bed. For a tall bed you want a taller piece.
How much weight does it take?
110 lb, so it's fine as a footstool and fine for small and medium dogs. It is not built for a Labrador going up and down all day.
Is the ramp steep?
It's a short ramp, so the slope is real. Small dogs and cats take it easily. A dog with serious hip trouble does better on something longer and shallower, like Hornbeam.
What actually fits inside?
A leash, a brush, a couple of toys, a folded blanket. It's a storage box, not a trunk.
Is there any assembly, and how do I clean it?
The beech legs screw on by hand; no tools. The sherpa fleece upholstery vacuums and spot-cleans with a damp cloth, and the black ribbed ramp deck wipes down.
